Abraham “Al” Rutel

Abraham Al Rutel died peacefully on Wednesday, Dec 10, 2014 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was 94 years old. Abraham was born on April 29, 1920 in New York City, New York to the late Meyer Rutel and Lena Cohen. Abraham enjoyed socializing with people, playing dominoes, cards, and bingo. He enjoyed camping, hiking, traveling places. He always put the needs of others first. Family was very important to him. Abraham is survived by sister Thelma Kastner of California, son Marvin Rutel, daughter in-law Karen Rutel of Tennessee, grandson Jason Rutel of Texas and sister in-law Edith Rutel of Washington state. Abraham was preceded in death by his parents Meyer and Lena Rutel and brother Jerry Rutel. There will be two memorial services
