Allan Douglas Kennedy

Mr. Allan D. Kennedy, age 81, resident of Hixon, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, at his home. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen P. Kennedy; a daughter, Dayna Barry Rich of Hixson; his son, David Karen Kennedy of North Little Rock, AR; six grandchildren, Jason Sharp, Amanda Rich, Boyd Rich, Ashley Scott Douglas, Elizabeth Kennedy fiancé Joseph Buchman and Megan Drew Walker. Allan was born in Dowagiac, Michigan and was the son of the late Albert and Beatrice Ireland Kennedy. He served in the Air Force and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant in the Air Force Police. He joined James Heddon and Sons in 1953 and continued to work with Heddon after its merger with Daisy BB Guns as Vice President of Sales and Marketing Heddon. He started his own premium company in 1980 in Fort Smith, AR. He held a membership in the Elks Lodge in Dowagiac, Michigan for 56 years. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250. Cremation Society of Tennessee is assisting the Kennedy Family with the arrangements.
