Anna Mae Anderson

Mrs. Anna Mae Anderson, age 90, a resident of Nashville
passed away Friday November 18th at Alive Hospice. Anna was born to the late Elonzo and Eliza Porter in Rockwood, TN on July 12, 1921. She married Roy Anderson in 1938 and remained married until his death in 1977. Anna was a caregiver for her family. She would claim that she raised them all. She was described by her daughter as the nurturer. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Anderson is survived by one daughter, Barbara Donnie Risner of Nashville; three grand daughters: Meghan Leigh McCollum of Murfreesboro, Tammy James Ingram of Nashville, and Debbie Dan McKinney of Franklin; One grand-son, Brandon Meredith Risner of Greenbrier; four great grand-sons: John Lindsay Garlit of Franklin, Dustin McKinney of Franklin, Sean McCollum of Murfreesboro, and Sam Risner of Greenbrier; Three great grand-daughters: Brandi Irby, Brittni Irby, both of Nashville, and Reagan Risner of Greenbrier.
