Barbara Ann Tanner

Barbara Ann Tanner, was born in Charleston, SC on Christmas Day, 1933 to Edwin and Ann Weeks Eargle. She went peacefully to Heaven on Thursday, July 29 at the age of 76 at NHC-Franklin. “Nana” was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband: Edwin B. Tanner; son Edwin B. Tanner, Jr, and his wife, Mary Jane Tanner. She is survived by three sons: Mike, Bobby, and Bill Bill, all of Franklin, TN. A daughter-in-law: Joanie; granddaughters: April Bob Weber, Brooke Joe Mabry, Amanda Klay Hawkins, and Ali Tanner also survive. Nana was also blessed with seven great grandchildren: Joshua, Jake, Hank, Ty, Cash, Drew, and Hutch. As her family, we know that our mom has a special place in Heaven, and look forward to the day we can reunite and rejoice in being with the Lord. We will love and miss you always mom. The family will conduct private services with burial in Akin, SC.
