Barbara Ann Townsend

Barbara Ann Townsend, age 81, of Woodbury Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford.

Barbara was born on November 16, 1933 in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Joseph Lesiak and Ann Tew Lesiak. She was the widow of Gordon Townsend and was of the Catholic faith. She had worked in food service at Miss Porter’s School for years.

Mrs. Townsend is survived by her daughter: Jo-Ann Cyr of Woodbury, Tennessee; sister: Eleanor Shipley of Florida; and nephew: James Depatra of Hartford, Connecticut.

No services are scheduled at this time, however, and inurnment will be held in Unionville Connecticut at a later date and her cremated remains will be reunited with her husband and other members of the family in the family plot.
