Barbara Sue Stauffer, passed away at her residence in Spring Hill, Tennessee on Friday, March 9, 2018.
Barbara was born on Christmas Eve in December of 1949 to the late Coy Edward and Alice Eunice Jaquette Sharp, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She retired as an RN, having been a triage nurse at Franklin Women’s Center for several years. She was a very compassionate person with a heart to serve others. Strong in her faith, she was a Christ follower and worshipped at Thomson Station Baptist Church. She was an inspiration to others in many ways, but her courageous nine year battle with cancer was a great example.
Cherishing the memory of Barbara are her loving children: Paul Eric (Anne) Stauffer, Charity Elizabeth (Aaron) Compton, Kristin Joy Stauffer and Timothy James Stauffer; grandchildren: Abbey (Levi) Hartley, Mikayla Stauffer, Kelsey Compton, Zachary Compton, Lindsey Compton, Noah Compton and Timothy Stauffer, Jr.; great-grandchildren: Evelyn Hartley and Iris Hartley; siblings: Carolyn (Gary) Baker, Debbie Bradley and Wanda (Brian) Kleinfelt.
A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Station Baptist Church with Pastor Tom McCoy officiating.
