Betty Jane Rich

Mrs. Betty Jane Rich, age 93, of Franklin, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 30, at NHC Cool Springs. Betty was born November 23, 1919 in Lorain, OH, the daughter of the late Allen A. Smith and Hilda Margaret Logan Smith. Betty was a graduate of Duke University, quite an accomplishment for her generation. She was first married to the late James Quarrie and later to the late Louis Rich. Betty enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her loving family. Survivors include her children, three daughters, Judy Hutton of Franklin, Sandra Lou Quarrie of Rochester, NY and Margaret Quarrie of Phoenix, AZ, two step-sons, Tom Rich of Rocky River, OH and Bill Rich of Bend, OR along with five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. No services are scheduled at the present time.
