Bud Cantrell, age 76, a resident of White House, TN passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at his son’s home in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Bud was born on July 25, 1937 to the late Joe and Liddie Ann Cantrell in Livingston, TN. Bud always had to be busy and loved to fix things. He spent much of his time in his favorite coveralls looking for anything that needed to be repaired. His family remembers him as someone that would not sit around. Services for Bud will be held Friday August 23, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Cross Plains, TN. The family will visit with friends beginning at 1:00 till service time. Reverend Bill Owens will officiate the service. Burial will follow on Saturday August 24, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cross Plains, TN. Pallbearers for Mr. Cantrell will be Chad Cantrell, Donnie Carmack, Sr., Adam Abbott, Michael Abbott, Robert Bailey, and Corey Daughtry. Bud is survived by his wife Ruby who he married in 1955. In addition to his wife he is survived by his four children: Earl R. Cantrell Cheryl Ann of Mt. Juliet, TN., Susie Abbott Randall of Gallatin, TN., Betty Bailey of White House, TN., and David W. Cantrell, Sr. Amanda of Portland, TN. Bud enjoyed his twelve grandchildren: Chad Cantrell, Donnie Carmack, Sr., Adam Abbott, Michael Abbott, David Cantrell, Jr. Caroll Cantrell, Corey Daughtry, Robert Bailey, Jessica Bailey, Tabitha Bailey, Alora Cantrell, and Leah Cantrell. In addition to his grandchildren he had several great grandchildren and a special nephew Joe Allan Gross.
