Carter Owen Bock passed away on November 25, 2024, in Dickson, Tennessee, at the age of 68. Born on January 14, 1956, to the late Robert Arthur Bock and Dorothy Glasby Bock in Meadville, PA. Carter was one of three children and grew up in the Midwest, cherishing the simple joys of small-town life.
Carter’s love of learning and passion for sports led him to the University of North Alabama, where he earned his Bachelor's degree while playing college football. His athletic journey extended beyond the gridiron when he moved to Tennessee to pursue rugby in Nashville, a decision that ultimately led him to settle in the state he came to love.
Carter’s life was centered around his two sons, Robert "Bobby" Arthur Bock II and Christopher Joseph "Joe" Bock, who were his pride and joy. He never missed a game or event, always present with unwavering support and encouragement. His devotion as a father leaves an enduring legacy of love and dedication that his sons will cherish forever.
An avid golfer, Carter found solace and joy on the fairways, appreciating the beauty and challenge of the sport. In quieter moments, he expressed his creativity through watercolor painting, a talent known to those closest to him, capturing the world with the same passion he brought to every aspect of his life.
