Christy Lane Sowell

Christy Lane Sowell, age 26, of Michie, Tennessee in Hardin County, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Christy was born on January 14, 1989 to the late Willis Tim Sowell and Nancy Meek Sowell in Hardin County, Tennessee. She was a 2008 graduate of the Adamsville High School. She enjoyed going to church with her family and was of the Church of Christ faith. She also enjoyed watching wrestling matches whenever she got the chance.

Christy is survived by her uncles: Kenneth (Linda) Meek and Travis (Shirley) Meek and Wayne Sowell; aunts: Carolyn (Ray) Wood and Lynn Hill; and several cousins, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Willis Tim Sowell. Her mother, Nancy Meek Sowell and her brother, Timmy Sowell, also passed away of injuries sustained in the automobile accident on December 8, 2015.

The family will celebrate Christy’s life with a memorial service at a later date.
