Donald Edgar Williams was born October 29, 1925 in Bronx, New York, the son of the late Daniel Edgar and Mary Danielsen Williams. Don was among the first students of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he achieved a 50-year achievement award. Don was a Navy pilot during WW II. One of his greatest achievements was flying President Ronald Reagan during his campaign for President. Don passed away on Wednesday morning, August 29, at Grace Health Care in Franklin at the age of 86. He is survived by a special group of friends in Franklin, especially Kinnie Johnson, who had cared for him for the past several years.
