Donald Fredrick Tinsley

Donald Fredrick Tinsley of Spring Hill, TN died on August 1, 2013 in his 57th year at NHC Franklin after a short illness. Don is predeceased by his father, William G. Tinsley III, his mother, Joyce A. Tinsley, and brother, Robert J. Tinsley. Don is survived by his brother W. Scott Tinsley of Thompson Station, TN and his sister Sheryl L. Muth of Alpharetta, GA. Although Don’s life had a rough beginning, after adopting the Tinsley family at age 13, Don learned to love God and his new family. Don led a very interesting life – from being an auto mechanic to truck driver, from being a bouncer for famous bands to flipping houses – there was nothing Don couldn’t do and nothing he couldn’t fix. Don spent his last years on disability honing his cooking skills, being an active member at First Baptist Church in Spring Hill, TN all while tinkering with building speakers and different things. Don felt strongly about sharing God’s love with others and made a difference in many lives. Don’s memorial service will be Tuesday, August 6 at 7:00 pm, at First Baptist Church: 5219 Main Street, Spring Hill, TN 37174. Interment will be at Spring Hill Memorial Park: 5239 Main Street, Spring Hill, TN 37174 at a later date.
