Dorothy T. Babb

Mrs. Dorothy Thomas Babb, age 93, of Waynesboro, Tennessee, passed away at her residence on Thursday, December 10, 2015.

Mrs. Babb was born in Sweetwater, Tennessee on June 15, 1922 to Fred and Verda Holder Thomas. She was married to Claude A. Babb on April 13, 1947 and they had a wonderful life together until his passing on October 19, 1993 after 46 years of matrimony. Dorothy not only enjoyed being a wife and mother, but she also enjoyed a career in nursing, working as an LPN. She was a woman of faith who served the Lord and was a member of Green River Baptist Church.

Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons: Jerry D. Babb and Wayne E. Babb; 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

The family will celebrate Mrs. Babb’s life with a memorial service at a later date.
