Douglas Mcdonald Barker

Douglas McDonald Barker, age 74, resident of Englewood, TN, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Alvin C. York Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Murfreesboro. Douglas was born May 3, 1937 in Columbia, VA, the son of the late Joseph Maghee Barker and Elizabeth Rachel Ball Barker. He was the husband of Sally Bauserman Barker of Englewood. He was retired from the Virginia Department of Corrections and was a member of the Oakwood Methodist Church in Columbia, VA. Douglas is also survived by his children, Lexie Barker of Englewood, and Rene Nathan Kidd of Cartersville, VA; sister, June Jorge Silveira of Hampden Sydney, VA and brother, Joseph Barker of Cumberland, VA. The Cremation Society of TN is assisting the family with arrangements.
