Elaine Locke Nelson

Nelson, Elaine Locke, of Manchester, passed this life on Monday, August 13, 2012, at Harton Regional Medical Center at the age of 77. Elaine was born in Crab Orchard, Tennessee, to the late R.H. Locke and Ethel Yates Locke. Elaine is survived by four children; Walter Stephen Hillis, Karla Hillis, Phaedra Hillis Lancaster Terry, and Earl H. Hillis Christy. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Elaine was employed by The Tullahoma News for many years. She also worked for the New York Times Group and ran a successful freelance advertising business. A celebration of her life will be held on September 7th, at 7 P.M. at the Manchester Convention Center.
