Esther Marie Hansel

Mrs. Esther Marie Hansel, age 91 of Franklin, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at her residence with her family at her side. She was a native of Longford, KS and daughter of the late John and Edna Mae Evans McCune. Out of high school, Esther worked on the B29 Project with Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, KS before moving to California. The remainder of her working career was as a cafeteria worker in the local school systems. Mrs. Hansel is survived by her husband of 57 years: Edward Philip Hansel of Franklin; a son: Steve Lisa Hansel of Franklin; a sister: Frances Brown of Greeley, CO; and two grandchildren: Lindsay Marie Hansel of Franklin and Travis Edward Hansel of Antioch. The Cremation Society of Tennessee is assisting the family.
