Gregory Nauyalis

Mr. Gregory “Greg” Nauyalis, age 69 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Saturday, March 13 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. He was a native of Geneseo, IL and son of the late John and Theresa Keine Nauyalis. He served his country in the United States Navy and worked as an Agriculture Stock Trader. Earlier in life he loved tending to his horses, and always had a passion for fishing. He is survived by two daughters: Coreen Heller of Mineral, IL and Monica Heady of Ft. Riley, KS; two brothers: Roger Nauyalis of Mt. Prospect, IL and David Nauyalis of E. Moline, IL; two sisters: Kathy Schultheis of Dixon, IL and Diane Nauyalis of Moline, IL; and five grandchildren: Brian, Andrew, Madison, Caleb, and Nicholas. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Richard and Jack; and a sister, Donna. Interment services will be conducted on Friday, April 2 at 2:00 PM in the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL.
