James Earl Clark, age 61 of Franklin, TN entered into eternity “peacefully and rejoicing” in the morning hours of Wednesday, June 29, 2011. James was a native of Franklin, KY and son of the late Raymond Ellis and Lourana Ann Morgan Clark. He was a 1967 graduate fo Fairview High School. The following year on November 28, 1968, he married Connie Steele, to whom he shared his life until the moment of his death. He served his country in the United State Army and made his career as a draftsman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children: Elizabeth Diane Clark and Robert Paul Clark; and sister: Nancy Jean Chafin. He is survived by his wife: Connie of Franklin, TN; a son: James Todd “J.T.” Clark of Franklin, TN; a brother: Rev. Raymond Ellis Shirley Clark Jr of Clarksville, TN; two sisters: Revs Judith “Judy” Raymond Brunet of Paola, KS and Shirley Jon Stewart of Burns, TN; three grandchildren: Edward Clark, Rose Clark, and Raymond Wagner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Under the direction of the Cremation Society of Tennessee, the family will celebrate James’ life on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the Concord Community Church of the Nazarene, 9826 Concord Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027.
