James L. Sanders

Mr. James L. Sanders, age 77 passed away Tuesday February 7th, 2012 in his home. Mr. Sanders was born March 27th, 1934 to the late James and Carrie Sanders in Bear Creek, AL. Mr. Sanders loved to fish especially salt-water fishing. He spent many years painting homes in the Lewisburg area and was considered a master painter. He loved his family and his dog Willie deeply. Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife, Marilyn Sanders of Lewisburg, TN; Three daughters: Brenda Poore of Alan Park, Fl., Deborah Downing of Alan Park, FL., Betty Dan Dixon of Live Oak, FL; Two Sons, James Donna Sanders of Live Oak, FL. and Michael Carol Sanders of Live Oak, FL; Four Step-daughters: Kristi Tim Richardson of Belfast, TN, Kim Matt Higgs of Lewisburg, TN, Kathy Tim Harwell of Shelbyville, TN, Katrina Singh of Richmond, Va; One Step-Son: and Kevin Turner of Lewisburg, TN. Mr. Sanders is also survived by one sister and three brothers as well as many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Willowbrook Hospice.
