Mr. James Marshall McGlocklin, age 73 of Pulaski, TN, died Monday, Aug. 17 in Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Athens, AL, son of the late James Edward & Hattie Lou Perry McGlocklin, and a retired truck driver for Parkwood Homes. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Catherine of Pulaski; 3 sons: James Kenneth McGlocklin of Prospect, Terry Lee McGlocklin of Pulaski, and James Edward McGlocklin, Jr. of Prospect; 3 daughters: Janet Steve Craig of Prospect, Barbara Ann Bobby Harbin of Athens, AL, and Sandra Farran Harbin of Athens, AL; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 brothers: Fred Betty McGlocklin of Missouri, Charles McGlocklin of New Hope, AL, and Chuck McGlocklin of Elkhart, IN; 4 sisters: Dolly Jim Magyar of Bristol, IN, Lisa, Paula and Melissa, all of AL. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Cooper McGlocklin. Mr. McGlocklin’s cremains were inurned at Giles Memory Gardens in Pulaski, TN during a private family service on Friday, August 21, 2009. Though departed from his family, he will never be forgotten.
