Janet Kathryn Mcwhorter

Janet Kathryn Overstreet McWhorter, age 64, of McEwen, passed away on Saturday, January 4, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Janet was born December 15, 1949 in Nashville, the daughter of Mrs. Dorothy K. Overstreet of Nashville and the late Pershing H. Overstreeet. She was a graduate of Joelton High School and was a homemaker. Survivors in addition to her mother include one son, Timothy L. Beaty of Nashville; two granddaughters, Victoria G. Beaty and Brianna G. Beaty, both of Sparta, TN; one sister, Judy J. Hamilton of Coldwater, MS and two brothers, Jerry A. Overstreet and Joe Overstreet, both of Nashville along with several nieces and nephews. a memorial graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at the Joelton Hills Memory Gardens in Joelton, TN
