Jerry Dale Borden

Jerry Dale Borden, 57, of Florence, AL passed away on Friday July 22, 2022. Jerry was born on February 21, 1965, in Florence Alabama to Roger Borden and the late Brenda Borden.

Jerry was a one of kind man that could light up a room as soon as he walked in. He would make any situation a funny one. He drove a truck and did two tours in Iraq with The United States Army. Jerry had a love for hot sauce and had to have it on everything he ate. He was a radio DJ in the 90’s. Jerry was an all-around family man, loved spending time with his grandkids and his whole family. Most of all Jerry bled Crimson and was an avid Alabama fan.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Kimberly Borden; Children, Jon (Amanda) Borden, Joshua Borden, Alexis Borden, Regina (DC) Jackson, and Justin Borden; Step-Children, Aly (Jordan) Hooks and Garrett Burnett; Grandchildren, Natalie and Russell Jackson, Jennifer Borden, Bentley and Emerson Hooks, Holli Tiggleman, and Dani Borden; Father, Roger Borden; Siblings, Tim (Gail) Borden and Patty (Joey) McGee; Nieces and Nephews, Jessica (Mike) Norton, Tiffany (Darren) Gibson, Brittany (Manley) Lytle, and Heath (Sabrina) Borden; and a host of great nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his mom, Brenda Gail Borden, he is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Lillie Peden, Grandfather, Jesse Peden, and Grandmother, Cecil Borden.

The family wanted to thank the ICU Staff at North Alabama Medical Center for their compassion and excellent care.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
