Joan Murray Drake

Mrs. Joan Murray Drake, age 80, of Adams, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born January 10, 1933 in Portland, Maine, the daughter of the late John Murray and Mildred Abel Murray. She had worked as a bookkeeper for an auto dealership. Joan enjoyed reading and knitting and her work as the church secretary for Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in the Sango area of Clarksville. Survivors include two daughters, Kate Dunavant and Deborah Fitzgerald, both of Adams, TN; three grandchildren, Angela Daron Fanakos, Daniel Fitzgerald and Marissa Jessie Shaw along with 7 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alexandra, Nathaniel, Christian, Kensey, Brendan and Brielle. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at the Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 3375 Sango Road, Clarksville, TN 37043.
