John Anthony Long

John Anthony Long, age 64, of Clifton, Tennessee passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 8, 2015.

John was born on October 29, 1950 to Ezra Milton Long and Minnie Belle Fulton Long. He earned a B.S. degree from Emporia State Teacher’s College in Kansas. He retired from Clayton Mobile Homes as the General Manager. After retirement he owned Pickwick Package, a local liquor store.

John was a hard worker at every task he undertook, and worked everyday of his life. In his free time, he loved fishing.

John is survived by his son: Phillip Long and wife Heather of Clifton; grandchildren: Macaden Hunt, Micah Long and Matty Beth Long; and his sisters: Becky Minor and Lucy Brooke. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ezra Milton Long and Minnie Belle Milleruu Long.

The family will celebrate John’s life at a later date.
