John Arthur Sexton

Mr. John Arthur Sexton was born on June 5, 1944 in White Plains, New York, to the late John Joseph Sexton and the late Mary Elizabeth Lee Sexton. He served honorably during the Vietnam Era in the United States Navy. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, avid golfer and golf photographer and had been a linehaul manager for Yellow Freight Systems. Mr. Sexton passed away peacefully at the Alvin C. York Veteran’s Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on August 27, 2012. Mr. Sexton is survived by his children: David J. Sexton, Denise A. Beach, John D. Sexton and Linda S. Rose; siblings: Sheila, Mark, Kevin and Mary Claire and 7 grandchildren. No services are scheduled at this time. The Cremation Society of Tennessee is assisting the family with the arrangements.
