John Weldon Francisco

John Weldon Francisco, age 65 formerly of Virginia Beach, VA. passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Cookeville, Tennessee. John was born on April 21, 1948 in Memphis, TN. to the late Dwight and Blanche Taylor Francisco. He was preceded in death by one brother William David Francisco. John leaves behind three brothers of Virginia Beach, VA; Ward Jackie, Scott Connie, and Gary Janet, along with nieces and nephews. During John’s illness his two special friends Craig Birdwell and Martha Selby became his caregiver. John took great pride in his U.S. Army service as a Vietnam War Veteran. During his service he received several medals including the Bronze Star. He will be dearly missed.
