Joyce E. Kehir

Mrs. Joyce E. Kehir, age 85, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, at Christian Care of Rutherford County. Joyce was born May 17, 1927 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine Himmon Kramp. She was the husband of 68 years of Peter P. Kehir, also of Murfreesboro. Joyce was a homemaker who most treasured her family and spending time with them. In her younger years she enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She was of the Catholic faith. Along with her husband, Joyce is also survived by their children, Ruth Ann Thorsett of California, Suzanne Orr of Minnesota, James Gloria Kehir and Ron Linda Kehir, both of Murfreesboro; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will celebrate Joyce’s life with a private family service.
