Kevin Paul Sullivan, a devoted father, a loving husband, and a cherished friend, left this world too soon on June 10, 2023, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew him. Born on May 1, 1964, in Washington D.C, he was the beloved son of Paul Sullivan and Sallie Hoover Sullivan.
Kevin was a wonderful father to his children, Michael Sullivan and Madalyn Sullivan, guiding them with love, wisdom, and unwavering support. He prayed fervently and faithfully for his children every day. As a husband, he shared a deep and profound bond with his wife, Tammy Sullivan, and their love was shining to all who witnessed it.
Professionally, Kevin was the proud owner and operator of Custom Drywall Finishing & Painting, where his skill and attention to detail were renowned. He took great pride in his work and was respected by his colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond his professional achievements, Kevin was an active member of the Broken Chains, a religious motorcycle ministry that celebrated recovery. Riding his motorcycle, especially alongside his friends, brought him immense joy and allowed him to forge connections with countless people on the open road.
Kevin’s infectious laughter, fun-loving nature, and goofy sense of humor brought light to every room he entered. He had a natural ability to make others laugh, easing their burdens and brightening their days. He found solace and tranquility in nature and often traveled to the mountains for weekends of camping, marveling at what he called “God’s Creation.” He admired the beauty of flowers, animals, and the world around him, always taking a moment to rescue a turtle in the middle of the road.
A caring and loving man, Kevin embodied strength through his unwavering faith and always honored the Sabbath Day. His dedication to his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and he held a special place in his heart for his mother and his faithful companion, Bear.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Sullivan and Sallie Hoover Sullivan, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and a world of friends who were blessed to have known him.
In our hearts, Kevin’s memory will forever live on as a beacon of light, reminding us to embrace life’s joys, spread laughter, and cherish the love we share with one another. May his soul find eternal peace, knowing he made a profound impact on the lives he touched.
