Mr. Lawrence Benjamin McCall, age 74, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee and Dade City, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Lawrence was born on December 17, 1941 to Badger and Anna Gertrude Wallenberg McCall in Brooksville, Florida. He married his loving wife Edna, on October 31, 1988 and they enjoyed twenty-eight years together. Lawrence was a hard working man who repair anything. He owned his own air conditioning and refridgeration business for many years. Upon retirement he loved the farm he and his was purchased in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, especially all the animals. He was a very loving and caring man. Though they had moved to Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, they still had family and friendships in Dade City, Florida, especially among their church family at First Baptist Church of Dade City. In their new town, however, Lawrence and Edna had found new friends and a new church family at Spencer Hill Church of Christ. All of these people were special to them as they served the Lord together.
Mr. McCall is survived by his wife: Edna Mccall; children: Chris (Dianna) McCall, Cheriee Kelly, Michelle (David) Foreman, William (Barbara) Moore and Joseph (Michelle) Moore; grandchildren: Stephen McCall, Keith McCall, Rebecca McCall and Samantha, Jason Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Bradley Kelly, and Erin Kelly, Grant Foreman and Blake Foreman, Addison Moore, Grace Moore and Elijah Moore; and siblings: Naomi Daniels, Lois Booth and Donna Douglas. He was preceded in death by his parents: Badger McCall and Anna Gertrude Wallenberg McCall; and siblings: Inez Fehrman, Lola Smith, Mitchell McCall and Gene McCall.
The family will celebrate the life of Lawrence with a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Spencer Hill Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant with David Kersey and Andy Pogue officiating. An additional Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Dade City, Florida with Pastor Steve Wright officiating.
