Lawrence D. Pelis

Lawrence D. Pelis, age 85, passed away September 11, 2023, in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was born July 27, 1938, to the late Lawrence and Dorothy Ritter Pelis in Laporte, Indiana.

After a lifelong career in the United States Military, Lawrence retired in Civil Service from the U.S. Army in Fort Campbell.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rosimarie Weiss Pelis.

His memory will be cherished by his daughters, Monika (Walter) Ealey and Wendy Lynn Burdick, and his brother, Richard Pelis. His legacy will continue through his grandchildren: Nicholas Kupitz, Christina Cuff, Dylan Ealey, Savanna Ealey, and a special great-grandchild, Shayne Cuff.

Lawrence had a passion for Formula 1 Racing. He always got a thrill watching international racing with some of the fastest cars in the sport. Throughout his life, he witnessed the evolution of cars and was always in amazement at what they have come to be.
