Lois L. Weeks

Lois L. Weeks, age 87, of Spring Hill, TN, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017, at Grace Healthcare in Franklin.

Lois was born August 8, 1929, in Seville, GA, the daughter of the late Floyd Haire and Rosalee Barefoot Haire. On January 27, 1947, she married Roy Edwin Weeks who preceded her in death in August of 1988.

Her life was her family and she loved them like no other mother could. She was very loving and caring. Lois adored flowers and working in her garden. She was very adventurous and loved to travel and wasn’t afraid to put all the kids in the car and go across country. One such trip was to Savannah, GA, the setting of many novels by her favorite author. She was a great cook and set many a table. She always had a kind word for everyone. She always said that her biggest blessing was moving to Tennessee. She was very energetic and fast paced until the end. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her children, Linda Novak, Debbie (Morley) Levine, Wayne Weeks, Wanda Miller, Cathy Jones, Darren (Marlene) Weeks and Kimberly (Michael) Eisler; grandchildren, Dwayne Novak, Richard (Michelle) Levine, Rachel Anderson, David Weeks, Alisha (Aaron) Bennett, Jeff (Laura) Dooley, Jonathan Dooley, Justin Dooley, Michael Jones, Valerie Castano, Chris (Robin) Weeks, Regina Weeks, Matthew, Madison, and Mary Elizabeth Eisler; great-grandchildren, Kasey, Sydney, and Mikayla Weeks, Maggie-Lyn, Emerson and Noah Anderson, Henry and Benjamin Bennett and Austin Dooley; siblings, Olin, Bobby and Frankie Haire. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Wallace, Jackie and Carl Haire.

A private celebration of Mrs. Weeks life will be held Saturday at her daughter’s home in Spring Hill.
