Marian Brown

Ms. Marion Brown, age 88 a former resident of Ft. Myers, FL, went Home to the Heart of God on Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was born in Louisville, KY. Rose was a professional artist and retired interior decorator having been employed at Porter Paint Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Brown, Sr., parents, Herman and Marcella Weber, Sr., and sister, Jeanne Mudd. Survivors include her three children, Gregg McGowan, Gayle Branzburg, and Jimmy Flynn; granddaughter, Asha McGowan; brother, Herman Weber, Jr. and nieces Rev. Carole Mahaffey and Dianne Osborne. Rose was a successful and professional artist and a member of the American Watercolor Society. Her award- winning paintings have been purchased both privately and corporately. A private Memorial Service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Unity Church of Middletown, 740 Old Harrods Creed Rd, Louisville, KY 40223.
