Martha Ruth Adcock

Martha Ruth Adcock, age 54 of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, June 24, 2011 at NHC-Smithville. She was born August 16, 1956 in McMinnville to the late Ned Maxey and Josephine Turner Terry. Additionally, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: George and Laura Turner; paternal grandparents: George and Tribbie Grace Terry; and her beloved aunt: Mrs. Martha Kelsey. She was a former employee of Federal Moguel in Smithville, and a member of the New Life United Pentecoastal Church. Martha is survived by two sons: Jenry Delaney and wife Lee Ann of Manchester, and Jason Medley of McMinnville; a sister: Sharon Diane Dillon and husband Drew of McMinnville; five grandchildren: Daniel Delaney, Ryan Hunter, Laura Rose Delaney, Josie Medley, and Brianna Delaney; and one great-grandchild: Gabriel Delaney; her loving caregiver: Ms. Patty Womack of McMinnville; and many cousins and friends. The family will celebrate Martha’s life as they gather at the Magness House Annex, 1511 Sparta Hwy, McMinnville, TN on July 10th from 2 to 4 P.M., with Christine Archer officiating. Privately, Martha will be laid to rest with her parents at Viola Cemetery in Viola, TN. Memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels or the American Humane Society.
