Mary Jean Baker

Ms. Mary J. Baker, age 65 of Ethridge, TN, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 2 with her son at her side. Ms. Baker was retired from Hughes-Parker Company. She enjoyed the process of “collecting”, especially coins, and spent free time along the river, fishing. She loved her family and the time they spent together, and is best described as “honest, loving, and caring.” She is survived by her son, Dean Houk II of Ethridge; three brothers, Gerald Hyatt of Hohenwald, Fred and Frank LaBelle of New York; two sisters, Beverly of Atlanta GA and Helen; a granddaughter, Mary Rosanna Houk of Dickson; and a special friend, Walter Cates of Mt. Pleasant. The family will celebrate the life of Ms. Baker at a later date.
