Pastor Jose A. Plaza

Pastor Jose A. Plaza, age 67 of Murfreesboro, passed away March 18, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Murfreesboro. Jose was known as Pastor by his loving family, wife, and many friends because he was a Church of God pastor for many years. He was born October 21, 1944 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to the late Jose and Julia Plaza Crespo. Pastor shared his life with Mercedes, along with their children. He leaves behind 5 daughters, 2 sons, and one brother survive him. One daughter precedes him in death. Jose was honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving during the Vietnam era. His family will lay him to rest Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with military honors in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville.
