Patricia Lewandowski

Patricia Lewandowski, age 73, of Clarksville, Tennessee passed away following an extended illness at her residence.

Patricia was the daughter of Fred Young and Betty Jane Mitchell Young and was born on September 23, 1942 in Sandusky, Ohio. Her father passed away when she was just a young girl and Charles E. Young married her mother, Betty and loved Patricia as his own, raising her as his daughter. Patricia was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.

Her daughter remembers that she loved playing canasta, and enjoyed any card game she could play on the computer. She loved traveling and camping, as she was a lady who didn’t like to keep still for long. She loved to go as long as she was able physically to do so. One of the family’s favorite things to do with Patricia was to go out to eat on Sundays together and then find some special activity they could all enjoy together while out and about. Another daughter remembers that her Patricia used to take her to play Bingo when she was younger. She also loved garage and yard sales. She also enjoyed doing ceramics and collecting angels.

Ms. Lewandowski is survived by four daughters: Debbie (Gary) Lippus, Tina (Michael) Taylor-Sterling, Laurie Peak, Todd Higley and Dianna (Mike) Sledge; brother: Charles J. Young of Florida; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and her companion: Roger McClanahan. She was preceded in death by her grand parents: Lena and John Mitchell; parents: Fred Young, Betty Jane Mitchell Young; loving step-father: Charles E. Young; son: Ronald Taylor, Jr.; daughter: Rebecca Lyon; grandson: Richard Carpenter; sister: Nancy Deffinbaugh; and the father of her children: Ronald Taylor, Sr.

There are no services scheduled at this time, however, Patricia will be together with her son and daughter at Oakland Cemetery, in Sandusky, Ohio.

Cremation Society of Tennessee is assisting the family with the arrangements and online condolences may be made to the family at www.cremationsocietyoftn.com.
