Ramona Haygood

Ramona Haygood, 62, passed away on March 31, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lawrence County, Tennessee, to Sherald and Betty Cockrell, Ramona was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a gentle soul, always ready to care for and help those around her.

Ramona had a passion for gardening and took great pride in her flowers. She loved butterflies and found joy in the little things. She was also very crafty and enjoyed making beautiful things with her hands. Her love for her family was strong and unconditional, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her two sons, Chris Haygood (Amy Bartlett) and Wade Haygood (Haley Osborn); her grandchildren, Brylee Haygood, Kynzlee Haygood, Axeton Haygood, Laynee Haygood, Kylie Haygood, Trinity Haygood, Isabella Bartlett, Aiden Bartlett, and Asher Bartlett; stepdaughters, Victoria Booker and Patricia Jones; brothers, Norman Cockrell and Brent Cockrell; sisters, Diane Osborn and Kathy Osborn; and many nieces and nephews.

Ramona’s kindness, creativity, and love for life will always be remembered. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Details regarding a memorial service will be gently shared at a later date.

Cremation Society of Tennessee is assisting the family with arrangements.
