Raymond Lloyd King, Sr.

Mr. Raymond Lloyd King, Sr., age 64, of Gallatin, passed away on Friday, Sept., 27, at his home following a sudden illness. Raymond was born May 28, 1949 in Scotland Neck, NC, the son of Edith Warren Rouse of Tarboro, NC and the late Earl King. Raymond was a Unied States Veteran and was a process engineer with Salga Plastics in Gallatin. Survivors in addition to his mother include his children, Jessica King of Durham, NC, Raymond Lloyd King, Jr., of Cary, NC, Tina Taylor of Durham, NC and Jacub Wolcott of Nashville, MI; two grandchildren, Brayden Taylor and Olivia Beasley along with brothers and sisters, Donald Ray King, Robert “Junior” Denton, Edith-Earl Scott, Lois Jean Williams, Harold Denton and David Denton. Raymond’s family will celebrate his life with a memorial service in North Carolina at a later date.
