Sean Grady O’Hara, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Sean, an Irishman by blood, was born to John Grady O’Hara and Mary Audell Davenport O’Hara on December 12, 1960 in Jellico, Tennessee. Sean served honorably in the US Navy Reserves. His favorite memory from his time of service was his jungle training while stationed in Panama. He was a brick mason by trade, owning his own company – O’Hara Construction. He was known in the community for his beautiful craftsmanship. Having lived in the beautiful mountainous area in Jellico, Tennessee, Sean was an avid outdoorsman, loving mountain climbing and rock climbing.
Sean is survived by his children: Brandon Wallace and Jodi O’Hara; siblings: Linda Belle O’Hara Lee, Peggy O’Hara, Mary Elizabeth Merritt, Roy Moses, Gary O’Hara and Phillip O’Hara; and grandchildren: Kyler, Chloe and Kaitlyn; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: John Grady O’Hara and Mary Audell Davenport O’Hara.
The family will celebrate Sean’s life with services at a later date.
