Vera Mae McGill

Vera Mae McGill, Born on October 28th, 1935, in Sandy Hook, TN. She passed peacefully in her home in Nashville, Tennessee.

She was a pillar of strength, courage, and unwavering love. She lived with a heart rooted in faith, guiding her family with wisdom and grace. She was never happier than when surrounded by those she loved most. We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, embraced by the eternal love of God, and watching over us with that same fierce devotion. Her spirit lives on in every hug, every prayer, and every moment we hold each other close.

She absolutely loved attending church & family outings. She dedicated her early years of serving the kids of the Metro Public Schools System in Nashville, TN.

A life celebration will be Saturday, April 26 at 1 PM. The family will receive friends from 1 pm to the start of the service at St. Ruth Primitive Baptist Church, 8306 Johnson Hill Road, Mt. Pleasant, TN.

Cremation Society of Tennessee is honored to be helping with the arrangements.
