William “Bill” Calvin Gary

WILLIAM C. GARY (Bill), 90, passed on May 4th after a long bout with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Mr. Gary was a successful advertising executive in both Birmingham and Knoxville where he was also a successful business owner. He was a member of the Greatest Generation having served in the Army Air Corps during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his three sons, Steven, David and Richard, their wives Karen and Nancy, four grand children and five great grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at Trinity United Methodist Church in Knoxville at 11AM on June 27. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his honor to either The Wounded Warrior Project or the Pat Summit Foundation.
